During the last century, many researchers have suggested several hypothesis about this subject. But the most reasonable is climatic changes. Especially, there is many evidences that concerning the drought in Greece and Anatolia. As natural consequence of the drought that famine emerged in Anatolia. Also Hittite, Egypt and Ugarit documents often make mention of famines in Anatolia even Herodotos. Nevertheless, famine is not only reason. Anatolian people who were affected by the famine and people coming from north, must have migrated and changed the fate of the Hittite country and the Near East.

Özet

Tunç Çağının sonuna gelindiğinde Miken saraylarının yakıldığı, Anadoluda Hitit Devletinin çöktüğü ve Do- ğu Akdenizde birçok kentin tahrip edildiği görülür.
