Abstract
The recent surveys and excavations conducted in one of the Lelegian settlements in Bodrum Peninsula, Pedasa and its environs, yielded new evidence that would shed light on Carian archaeology. This contribution evaluates the stylistic features and the function of a bone figurine, carved in Syrian Style, dated to the third quarter of the 7th century B.C., as well as its close connections with the similar examples from the other centers in the Aegean world and the Near Eastern.
