Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present 15 unpublished coins of the Bithynian Koinon struck under Hadrian in the collections of Iznik, Sakarya, Bolu and Bursa Museums. Provenance of these coins is unknown. Three of these coins are silver while the rest of them are bronze issues. Providing the evidence for the circulation of koinon coins, the paper shortly evaluates economic and numismatic purposes of koinon coins.
Özet
Bu çalışma İznik, Sakarya, Bolu ve Bursa Müzelerinde bulunan İmparator Hadrianus döneminde basılan ve yayımlanmamış 15 Koinon Bithynia sikkesini içermektedir. Sikkelerden üç tanesi gümüş, diğerleri tunçtur. Sikkelerin buluntu yerleri kesin olarak bilinmemektedir. Çalışmada Koinon Bithynia sikkelerinin aynı zamanda dolaşımı da incelenmiş ve sikkeler ekonomik ve numismatik açıdan kısaca değerlendirilmiştir.
