[BONE FINDS FROM ALLIANOI]

Abstract

In this study, processed bone finds discovered in Allianoi excavations between 1998 and 2006 were grouped under three main headings. Allianoi is located in Paşa Ilıcası Mevkii which was inside Yortanlı irrigation dam pond in 2010 within the borders of Bergama District of İzmir Province, in the 18th kilometer of the old Bergama-İvrindi highway, in the north of Bergama. The typologies for the needles and spoons making up the majority of the finds were formed and the few and unique finding without typology were evaluated in terms of their functions. The small architectural finds found indicate that Allianoi came into prominence particularly during the Roman Imperial Period

Özet

Bu çalışmada, Allianoi'da 1998-2006 yılları arasında yapılan kazılarda bulunan işlenmiş kemik buluntular üç ana başlık altında gruplandırılmıştır. Allianoi, İzmir İli, Bergama İlçesi sınırları içinde, eski Bergama-İvrindi yolunun 18. kilometresinde, Bergama'nın kuzeydoğusunda, 2010 yılında Yortanlı Sulama Barajı göletinde kalan Paşa Ilıcası Mevkii'ndedir. Buluntuların çoğunluğunu oluşturan iğne ve kaşıklar için tipoloji oluşturulmuş, tipoloji oluşturulmayan daha az sayıdaki ve tekil buluntular ise işlevleri açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Ele geçen mimari ve küçük buluntular Allianoi'un özellikle Roma İmparatorluk Dönemi'nde önem kazandığını gösterir
