The mean score of the students on the scale was 128±16.0. A significant statistical difference found between the students’ total score on the scale and their sex, research experience, frequency of following scientific publications and reading scientific journals, and thinking of the educated to access evidence-based information (p
Özet
Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, hemşirelik lisans öğrencilerinin araştırma ve gelişmelere yönelik farkındalık ve tutumlarının değerlendirilmesi ve etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırma tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı tipte yapıldı. Araştırmanın örneklemini İstanbul’da bulunan iki vakıf üniversitesinde okuyan, araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü 182 hemşirelik lisans öğrencisi oluşturdu. Araştırmanın verileri, “Sosyo-Demografik Özellikler Formu” ile “Hemşirelik Öğrencilerinin Araştırmaya, Gelişmelere Farkındalığı ve Tutumu Ölçeği” kullanılarak toplandı. Bulgular: Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin yaş ortalaması 20,91±1,93 olup, %80,2’si kadın, %30,2’si birinci sınıf öğrencisi ve %64,3’ü Anadolu lisesi mezunudur. Hemşirelik lisans öğrencilerinin %60,4’ü “araştırma ile ilgili herhangi bir ders almadıklarını”, %79,7’si “araştırma yapma deneyimlerinin olmadığını”, %72,5’i “bilimsel yayınları takip etmediklerini”, %46,2’si “bilimsel dergileri okumadıklarını” ve %63,7’si “kanıta dayalı bilgiye nasıl ulaşabilecekleri ile ilgili bir eğitim almadıklarını düşündüklerini” belirtti. Öğrencilerin ölçekten aldıkları toplam puan ortalaması 128±16,0 olarak saptandı. Ölçekten alınan toplam puan ortalaması ile cinsiyet, bilimsel yayın takip etme, araştırma yapma deneyimi, kanıta dayalı bilgiye ulaşma ile ilgili eğitim aldığını düşünme durumu ve bilimsel dergi okuma sıklığı arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulundu (p
