Abstract
Focal neurologic signs in the migraine complique include, oculomotor palsy and vestibular abnormalities. Sometimes the vestibular symptoms clearly occur in peculiarity of migraine. We report two patients suffering from vertigo, severe enough to camouflage headache and the other symptoms of migraine, with unilaterally complete loss of caloric responsiveness. The patients required medication for the vertigo and migraine was masked by the complete loss of caloric responsiveness. They took several medications including ginkgo biloba extract and betahistine without any recovery. The final diagnose was migraine-related vertigo with lengthened aura and the patients benefit of migraine prophylaxis.
