Castleman disease of childhood: A case report

Abstract

Giant lymph node hyperplasia (Castleman disease) is uncommon in children and rare in infancy. A 9-month-old girl with a left cervical mass, was followed up for six months. The mass was totally excised and histopathologic examination showed hyaline vascular type of Castleman disease. A case of Castleman disease that is rarely seen in children is presented.
