A comparative study of anti-androgenic drug therapies among patients with hirsutism

Abstract

Purpose: It is aimed to evaluate the efficiency of anti-androgenic drug therapy regiments including Diane 35 plus cyproterone acetate (CPA), Diane 35 plus spironolactone, and spironolactone alone that we used for hirsutism. Methods: Seventy-four premenopausal hirsute women were included to the study. The serum FSH, LH, testosterone (T) and DHEAS levels were analyzed before and after treatment at 6 and 12 months.
