Abstract
In this study, total 370 milk samples were assessed taken under aseptic conditions from the cows selected at random from 4 dairy herds. Bovine serum albumin (BSA), total protein, level of lactose and electrical conductivity (EC) were determined in all samples. In additional, California Mastitis Test (CMT) was carried out for 200 samples (Group I). As for 170 samples (Group 2) somatic cell count (SCC) was determined by accounting microscopically. As a result of this study, while there is a positive correlation between the findings of SCC, CMT and EC, a relationship between BSA, lactose and total protein could not established. Whereas BSA, lactose and total protein amount were found variable while EC increases and decreases.
