Abstract
In this study , a serological survey in cattle herds for antibodies against IBR, PI-3,' BRSV, BVD, Enterovirus 1-2 and BAV 1-2-3 in Turkey is described. Four hundred eighty serum samples from cattle were collected from 10 dairy herds. Seropositive rates for each virus were: 59.7 % for IBR, 52.7 % for PI-3, 44.6 % for BRSV, 62.0 % for BVD, 53.5 % for Enterovirus 1,50.5 % for Enterovirus 2 and 24.6 %for BAV 1, 35.2 %for BAV 2, 14.2 %for BAV3. 6.25 % of the animals were negative for antibodies against selected viruses. In 9.38 % of animals antibodies was detectable for single virus, and in 11.46 % of seropositive animals had carried antibody against two disease, while in 72.01 % of the animals tested have been detected as seropositive for 3 to 8 virus infections. The highest rate found as 18.96 % was observed against to 4 to 5. viruses, with the presence of spesific antibodies.
