Abstract

In this study, it is investigated to the presence of Ibaraki virus infection in cattle in Turkey serologically. 1342 serum samples were collected from 9 herds and were tested for Ibaraki virus spesific antibodies by the microtıter serum neutralisation technique. Of 1342 serum samples, 3 (0.22 % ) were found to be positive for antibodies against Ibaraki virus. These sera were detected as negative for EHD-1, EHD-2 and Bluetongue spesific antibodies by microneutralisation technique.

Özet

Bu çalışmada Türkiye 'de sığırlarda Ibaraki virus enfeksiyonunun varlığı araştırıldı. 9 sürüye ait 1342 sığırdan alınan kan serumları mikronötralizasyon testi ile Ibaraki virusuna .spesifik antikorlar yönünden kontrol edildi ve 3 ( % 0.22 ) adedinde Ibaraki antikorlarının varlığı saptandı. Bu kan serumları mavidil, EHD-1 ve EHD-2 virusları ile yapılan mikronötralizasyon testinde negatif bulundu.
