Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the possible changes in the skin structure of F1 and B1 cross-breds, which have been raised by crossing sheep of German Blackhead with Akkaraman, Awassi and Konya Merino, respectively.The skin of five animals from each genotype group was used in this study. In a period of five years and in each season the biopsy samples of various body regions (neck, flank, hip) were taken .The results of this investigation can be summarized as follows: When compared with their pure lines, the row skin peculiarities of B1 cross-breds of German Blackhead x Akkaraman, F1 and B1 cross breds of German Blackhead x Awassi have been found to be superior. In the order mentioned.Wool production in F1 and Bl breds of German Blackhead x Konya Merino was lower than Konya Merino.In terms of leather quality, Bl breds of German Blackhead x Akkaraman were in the first order among all other genotypes.

Özet

Bu çalışma, Alman Siyah Bas (ASB) koyunları ile Akkaraman, İvesi ve Konya Merinosu arasında yapılan melezlemelerden elde edilen F1 ve G1 melezlerine ait derilerde meydana gelebilecek yapısal değişiklikleri incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Her genotip grubundan erkek ve dişi olmak üzere 5 hayvan kullanıldı. Bu hayvanlardan 5 yıl süreyle dört mevsim değişik beden bölgelerinden (boyun, kaburga, but) biyopsi yoluyla deri örnekleri alındı.Ham deri özellikleri yönünden sırasıyla ASB x Akkaraman Gl ve ASB x İvesi F1 ve G1 melezlerinin saf hatlarına göre üstün özelliklere sahip olduğu, ASB x Konya, Merinosu F1 ve G1 melezlerinin yapağı verimi yönünden Konya Merinosuna göre üstün olmadıkları, ASB x Akkaraman Gl melezlerinin özellikle deri kalitesi yönünden melezler arasında en iyi olduğu sonucuna varıldı.
