The analysis of protein structure of cyst hydatid protoscolices from sheep and the determination of specific antigens

Abstract
In this study, protein bands of hydatic protoscolices of sheep liver were determined by using SDS-PAGE+ Western blot, and this was followed by de-termining the specific cyst hydatic protein bands for sheep.For diagnosis purpose, 20 positive, 10 negative and 1 non-infected sheep sera were used in this experiment.According to our results, specific protein band for cyst hydatic disease in sheep was determined as 68,24 and 8 kDa.
Özet
Bu çalışmada SDS-PAGE+Western blot kombinasyonu kullanılarak, kovun karaciğer kist hidatik protoskolekslerinin protein bantları ortaya çıkarılmış, daha sonra da koyunlar için spesifik kist hidatik protein bantları belirlenmiştir.Bu amaç için 20 pozitif koyun serumu, 10 negatif koyun serumu, 1 non-enfekte kovun serumu kullanılmıştır.Çalışma sonuçlarına göre: koyunlarda kist hidatik hastalığı için spesifik protein bantlarının 68,24 ve 8 kDa olduğu belirlenmiştir.
