The macroanatomical investigations on the veins of the neck region in new zealand rabbit

Abstract

In the present study, the veins of neck region in the New Zealand rabbit were observed macroanatomically. A number of 16 adult specimens were used in the study. The veins were filled with the latex and dissection was performed. It has been observed that there are two cranial vena cava, the right and the left one, in the rabbit, both of which in relation with each other via the transverse jugular vein in front of the cranial thoracic inlet. The right and left vena thyroidea caııdalis were seen arising as a common root from the dorsal surface o the v. cava cranialis dexter. Likely, v. thyroidea caudalis sinister in one material, was determined coining lonely from the v. cava cranialis dexter and v. thyroidea caudalis dexter leaving vena cava cranialis dexter with v. colli mediana commonly. Ramus laryngeus caııdalis of both sides were observed niting with v. laryngea cranialist at the level of cranial edge of the ventral border of the thyroideal cartilage and ventral to the epiglottis; thus, constructing the cranial laryngeal arch. The costocervical vein was arised directly from the cranial vena cava.

Bu çalışmada Yeni Zelanda tavşanının boyun bölgesi vena'ları makroanatomik olarak incelendi. Araştırmada 16 adet ergin Yeni Zelanda tavşanından faydalanıldı. Materyallerin tümü latex ile dolduruldu ve diseksiyon yapıldı. Tavşanda v. cava cranialis'in v. cava cranialis dexter ve v. cava cranialis sinister olarak iki adet olduğu ve bu damarların apertura thoracis cranialis'in hemen önünde v. jugularis transversa adında bir damarla birbirleriyle ilişkide olduğu belirlenmiştir. V. thyroidea dexter et sinister'in ortak bir kök halinde v. cava cranialis dexter'in dorsal yüzünden çıktığı, bir materyalde ise. v. thyroidea. caudalis sinister'in tek başına v. thyroidea caudalis dexter'den, v. thyroidea caııdalis dexter'in ise v. colli mediana ile ortak bir kök halinde v. cava cranialis dexter'den çıktığı tespit edilmiştir. Her iki tarafa ait ramus laryngeus caııdalis ile v. laryngea cranialis'in cartilago thyroidea'nın ventral kenarının cranial ucu düzeyinde, epiglottis'in ventral'inde birleşerek arcus laryngeus cranialis'i oluşturduğu belirlenmiştir. Vena costocervicalis'in v. cava cranialis'ten çıktığı tespit edilmiştir.
