Ultrasonographic evaluation of the core lesion in bicipital tendon in two horses

Abstract
In this case report, ultrasonographic findings of the rarely occurred "core" lesion in bicipital tendon in two horses was described. On ultrasonographic examination of the cases in the level of intertubercular groove of the humerus, "core" lesion which had hipoechoic to anechoic appearance was determined in intermediate and medial lobes of the bicipital tendon.
Özet
Bu olgu takdiminde iki atta m. biceps brachii tendosunda ender olarak görülen "core lezyon" un ultrasonografik bulguları tanımlandı. Çalışmadaki olguların ultrasonografik muayenesinde humerusun sulkus intertuberkülaris düzeyinde m. biceps brachii tendosunun intermedier ve medial loplarında hipoekoijenden anekojene varan görünümde olan "core lezyon" belirlendi.
