Pelvic actinomycosis without the presence of an intrauterine device

Abstract
Genital actinomycosis is an uncommon clinical condition. Occurrence of actinomyces infection following intrauterine contraceptive device insertion has been reported by many authors. However, colonization of the female genital tract with actinomyces without the presence of an intrauterine contraceptive device is uncommon. Here we pre-sent a case of actinomyces endometritis without the presence of an intrauterine device

Genital aktinomikoz nadir bir klinik durumdur. İntrauterin araç kullanımı sonrası aktinomiçes enfeksiyonu pek çok yazar tarafından vurgulanmıştır. Kadın genital sisteminin aktinomiçes kolonizasyonu İntrauterin araç kullanmayan kadınlarda ise nadiren görülmektedir. Bu makalede, İntrauterin araç kullanmayan bir olguda aktinomiçes endometriti sunulmaktadır.
