Social Changes and Family in Orhan Kemal's "Eskici Dükkânı"

Abstract
Social change is a concept that takes place in the life of societies quickly or slowly, shows continuity and expresses the transition from one state to another. The family, on the other hand, is affected by these changes and shapes these changes as the smallest living unit of this structure. The throes is created in the family, by social changes in Turkey, a subject that has always been interested in our novelist of all time. One of the names that carefully focus on this issue is Orhan Kemal, who is known as the "novelist of social change".
Özet
Toplumsal değişme, toplumların hayatında hızlı ya da yavaş yavaş gerçekleşen, devamlılık gösteren ve bir durumdan başka bir duruma geçişi ifade eden bir kavramdır. Aile ise bu yapının en küçük canlı birimi olarak hem bu değişmelerden etkilenir hem de bu değişmeleri şekillendirir. Türkiye’deki toplumsal değişimlerin ailede yarattığı sancılar, romancılarımızın her zaman ilgi duyduğu bir mevzu olagelmiştir. Bu mevzuya dikkatle odaklanan isimlerden biri "toplumsal değişmenin romancısı" olarak tanınan Orhan Kemal’dir.
