The Psychological Dimension of the Unemployment Phenomenon: An Emprical Study

Abstract

In this study, we have tried to determine the socio-economic and psychological situations, the level of depression and the factors influencing the level of depression, and the relationships between the level of depression and various other variables. According to the results of the study, the level of depression of the unemployed is 22.70 (S.S. = 9.71). 0.863 of the unemployed persons showed symtoms of depression, 0.414 had serious depression, and 0.586 had a medium level of depression. Bu araştırmada işsizlerin sosyo-ekonomik koşulları, psikolojik durumları, depresyon düzeyi, depresyon düzeyini etkileyen değişkenler ve depresyon düzeyi ile bazı değişkenler arasındaki ilişki belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır.
