A Study on the Determination of Noise Pollution Level: Amasya Sample

Abstract

The problem of noise pollution emerges as one of the environmental problems that constitute a serious danger for human and environmental health and that should be made provision against. As it is in many provinces of our country, noise pollution is also increasing rapidly in Amasya in parallel with the urban development process of the province. In this study, literature search for noise pollution was made first, and the noise problem was tried to be embodied. Then, the results of the measurements made at certain points of Amasya were analysed and the level of noise pollution and the potential of this determined level in affecting human and environmental health were specified, and recommendations were tried to be made.

Özet

Gürültü kirliliği sorunsalı; insan ve çevre sağlığı için önemli bir tehlike oluşturan ve önlem alınmasıgereken çevre sorunlarından biri olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Ülkemizin pek çok ilinde olduğu gibi,Amasya ilinde de, ilin kentsel gelişim sürecine paralel olarak gürültü kirliliğinin hızlı bir şekilde artmaktaolduğu görülmektedir.Bu çalışmada; ilk olarak gürültü kirliliğine yönelik literatür taraması yapılarak gürültü sorunsalısomutlaştırılmaya çalışılmıştır. Daha sonra Amasya ilinin belirli noktalarında yapılan ölçümlerin sonuçlarıanaliz edilerek söz konusu gürültü kirliliğinin ne düzeyde olduğu, belirlenen düzeyin insan ve çevre sağlığınıetkileyen potansiyeli belirlenmiş ve önerilerde bulunulmaya çalışılmıştır.
