Abstract
The aim of this study was to compare the relation between df-s and Streptococcus mutans in caries active children aged between 6-8 years. The salivary S. mutans levels were determined from 78 children (in each group 39 children ) who has 0 and >8 df-s values. Bu çalışmanın amacı, yaşları 6-8 arasında değişen çürük aktivitesi yüksek çocuklarda df-s ve S. mutans arasındaki ilişkiyi karşılaştırmaktı. df-s değerleri 0 ve > 8 olan 78 çocuğun (her bir grupta 39'ar çocuk) tükürük S. mutans düzeyleri belirlendi. Sonuçlar, df-s düzeyi 0 olan gruptaki çocukların tükürük S. mutans değerlerinin 3.1x102, df-s> 8 olan çocukların ise 4.7x105 olduğunu göstermiştir.
