Abstract
The aim of this in vitro study was to evaluate the microleakage of Class V restorations by using five different resin-based restorative systems. Fifty freshly extracted permanent human molar teeth without caries vere used in this study. Ten teeth vere randomly assigned for each of the five experimental groups. Class V cavities in confinement of enamel vere prepared on buccal surface of each teeth. The cavities vere restored vith five different restorative systems according to the manufacturer's directions. The restorative materials vere as follovs: Ariston pHc/Ariston Liner (Vivadent), Dyract APIPrime-Bond NT (Dentsply), Valux PluslSingle Bond (3 M), Charisma/Gluma Comfort Bond (Heraeus Kulzer), Admira/Admira Bond (Voco). The specimens vere stored in the distilled vater at 37° C for 24 hours. 200 x thermocycling vas applied betveen 5$pm$2 for one minute and 55$pm$2 for one minute. After this procedure the apices of the teeth vere covered vith light cure composite and each of the specimens vere sealed vith tvo layers of nail varnish leaving 2 mm. of space around the restorations. After helding in 0.5% basicfucsinfor24 hours. The teeth vere sectioned in the facial-lingual direction. The staining levels of specimens vere evaluated under stereomicroscope and photographs vere taken. The microlekage scores vere evaluated significantly by using Z-Test method. The statistical results shoved thatthere vere statistical differences betveen occlıısal and gingival cavity ınargins of ali tested materials (P
Özet
Bu in vitro çalışmanın amacı beş farklı rezin esaslı restoratif sistemin Class V restorasyonlardaki mikro sızıntılarının incelenmesidir. Bu çalışmada yeni çekilmiş elli adet daimi insan molar dişi kullanıldı. On diş rastgele beş deney grubuna ayrıldı. Dişlerin ön yüzlerine sınırlan minede kalacak şekilde Class V kaviteler açıldı. Çalışmada Ariston pHclAriston Liner (Vivadent), Dyract APIPrime-Bond NT (Dentsply), Valux PluslSingle Bond (3M), Charisma/Gluma (Heraeus Kulzer), Admira/Admira Bond (Voco) isimli restoratif sistemler kullanıldı.
