Abstract

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and also ranks second in cancer-related deaths in the United States. The incidence of most frequent types prostate cancer include type gastric carcinoma is approximately 95% [1]. The prognosis of prostate cancer is often associated with the presence or absence of metastases [2]. While the most common metastases via lenfoj way is the lymph nodes, by the haematogenous way are bone, lung, liver, and adrenal glands and pleura [3]. Inguinal lymph node metastasis can be rarely visualised. Technetium-99m hydroxy methylene diphosphonate (Tc-99m HDP) bone scintigraphy has a high sensitivity and low specificity of 2% abnormal soft tissue and skeletal findings can be traced out [4]. Inguinal lymph node metastases detected in our whole body bone scintigraphy performed for prostate cancer are presented in this interesting image.

[3]. İnguinal lenf nodu metastazı nadir olarak izlenebilmektedir. Teknesyum99m hidroksimetilen difosfanat (Tc-99m HDP) kemik sintigrafisi yüksek sensitivite ve düşük spesifiteye sahip olup %2 oranında anormal yumuşak doku ve iskelet dışı bulgular izlenebilmektedir [4]. Bu ilginç görüntümüzde prostat kanseri nedeniyle yapılan tüm vücut kemik sintigrafisinde saptanan inguinal lenf nod metastazı sunulmaktadır.
