The Effects of the Crusades on Eastern Christianity

Abstract
The Crusades bore some fruits for the Western Christians and the Eastern Muslims. But on theother hand in the terms of loss of lives, properties and psychological effects, they bore bitter fruits. Thesedetrimental effects of the Crusades primarily damaged those Christians who lived in the Middle-East.

Haçlı Seferleri, Batılı Hristiyanlar ve Doğulu Müslümanlar açısından bazı olumlu sonuçlar doğurdu. Ancak bunun yanı sıra can, mal kayıpları ve psikolojik yönden kötü etkileri de oldu. Haçlı Seferlerinin bu olumsuz etkilerine en fazla maruz kalanlar ise, doğuda yaşayan Hristiyan tebaa oldu.
