The Foundations of the Grave Life in the Qur'an

Abstract

Grave life is one of the most controversial topics in our day, as it has been in the past. In particular the focus of discussions on the issue of traditional belief in the grave life, whether or not it has a Qur'anic basis. In this respect, we will try in this article to examine the foundations of the kabir life in the Qur’an in the context of rejection-acceptance/existing-proving without entering the kalam debates. In doing so, in the same way we will try to act in the light of the concepts of “blessing” and “punishment”, which are the subheadings of kabir life. Also we will try to examine verses that relate directly to this matter, with their context, their integrity relations exhibited at the Qur’an level and grammatical surveys, as necessary.

Kabir hayatı, geçmişte olduğu gibi günümüzde de çokça tartışılan konular arasında yer almaktadır.Özellikle tartışmaların odak noktası, konuya ilişkin geleneksel inancın Kur’anî dayanaklara sahip olupolmadığı meselesidir. Bu itibarla biz bu makalede, kelami tartışmalara girmeden, kabir hayatınınKur’an’daki temellerini sübut-ispat meselesi bağlamında araştırmaya çalışacağız. Bunu yaparken de“kabir hayatı”nın alt başlıkları olan “nimet” ve “azap” kavramlarından hareket ederek, konuyla doğrudanbağlantılı ayetleri siyak-sibakları, aralarındaki bütünlük ilişkileri ve ihtiyaç duyulması halinde gramertahlilleriyle de incelemeye gayret edeceğiz.
