“BUSSED HEALTH” FROM KARS TO ERZURUM: A FIELD STUDY

Abstract
The aim of this study is to reveal the dimensions of Kars’ dependence on Erzurum in the field of health and to draw attention to the bussed health service from Kars to Erzurum. The universe of the research consists of 288.878 people who make up the population of Kars in 2018. 450 samples were reached to represent the universe, but 424 valid questionnaires were used. In this study, convenience sampling method was used. A questionnaire with 56 questions was used also as a data collection tool. According to the result of research while the proportion of those who are dissatisfied with the State Hospital is about 70%, this ratio is about 59% for the Kafkas University (KAU) Research Hospital and about 50% for the Dental Hospital. 76.7% of the participants went to Erzurum 1-3 times to get health services, and 57.3% spent 301 TL or more in Erzurum. It was seen that the most preferred polyclinics in Erzurum are Internal Medicine (10.1%), Ophthalmology (9.9%), Dental (8.3%), Dermatology (8%), and General Surgery (7.3%). There was a significant difference between the income level of the participants and the frequency of going to Erzurum (p=0.0330.05). On the other hand there is a significant relationship (p=0.000

Bu çalışmanın amacı Kars’ın sağlık alanında Erzurum’a olan bağımlılığının boyutlarını ortaya koymak ve Kars’tan Erzurum’a gerçekleşen taşımalı sağlık hizmetine dikkat çekmektir. Araştırmanın evreni 2018 yılı Kars il nüfusunu oluşturan 288.878 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Evreni temsilen 450 örnekleme ulaşılmış ama geçerli 424 anket kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmada kolayda örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak da 56 soruluk bir anket formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre Devlet Hastanesinden memnun olmayanların oranı yaklaşık %70 iken, bu oran Kafkas Üniversitesi (KAÜ) Araştırma Hastanesi için yaklaşık %59, Diş Hastanesi için yaklaşık %50’dir. Katılımcıların %76.7’si sağlık hizmeti almak için 1-3 kez Erzurum’a gitmiş ve %57.3’si ise Erzurum’da 301 TL ve üstü para harcamıştır. Erzurum’da en çok tercih edilen polikliniklerin ise Dâhiliye (%10.1), Göz hastalıkları (%9.9), Diş (%8.3), Cildiye (%8), ve Genel Cerrahi (%7.3) olduğu görülmüştür. Katılımcıların gelir düzeyi ile Erzurum’a gitme sıklığı (p=0.0330.05) geçerli olmamıştır.
