Mikonazole bağlı akut hepatit ve cinsel ilişki

Abstract

The diagnosis of drug induced liver disease requires clinical suspicion and careful evaluation of past and present drug use. We present a case of recurrent imidazole anti-fungal vaginal preparation (miconazole and clotrimazole) induced acute hepatitis. The last episode of this was related to repeated application of miconazole cream to the penis prior to sexual intercourse. After advice to discontinue this practice, the patient made an uneventful recovery.

Özet

İlaca bağlı gelişen karaciğer hastalıklarına tanı koymak için, klinik olarak şüphelenmek ve titiz bir şekilde geçmişte ve şu anda kullanmakta olduğu ilaçların sorgulanması gerekir. Bu yazıda son epizodu her cinsel ilişki öncesinde eşinin penisine sürdüğü mikonazol bağlı olan imidozol bağlı (mikonazol ve klotrimazol) tekrarlayan akut hepatitle seyreden bir vaka sunulmuştur. Hastanın akut hepatit tablosu eşinin bu yolla anti-fungal uygulamasının önlenmesi sonucu düzelmiştir.
