Gastric diverticulum and its clinical significance (A case report and review of the literature)

Abstract
In this article, we report a case of adult gas¬tric diverticulum. Gastric diverticulum is usually single and most frequently occur in the juxta-cardiac region of the stomach. Difficulties in diagnosis and treatment of this rare condition are discussed. The importance of ac¬curate preoperative diagnosis by radiography and en-doscopy is emphasized.
Özet
Bu makalede, bir gastrik divertikül olgusu sun¬duk. Gastrik divertiküller genellikle tek ve sıklıkla mi¬denin parakardiyal bölgesinde oluşurlar. Bu nadir has¬talığın teşhis ve tedavisindeki güçlükler tartışıldı. Radyografi ve endoskopinin preoperatif tanıdaki önemi vurgulandı.
