Preparatıon of The Alma Ata Conference and its Subsequenc

Abstract

Thearticletouchesupontheconditionswhichpromotedtheorganisationof1978AlmaAtaconference,themostimportantinternationalpolitical activity to date and its aftermath. The conference could be convened with the existance specific geo-political and economical conditions of the periodwhichcreatedtheNon-AllignedMovementandtheNewInternationalEconomicOrder.Followingtheterminationofthisfavorableperiod, the principles of the conference could not be realised. In conclusion, it was judged that the basic health determinants of social, economic and politicalequitycouldnotbeachievedincapitalisticsocieties

Özet

Yazıda halk sağlığı konusunda günümüze kadarki en önemli uluslararası politik eylem olan 1978 Alma Ata konferansının hangi koşulların varlığında gerçekleştiği ve sonrasında neler olduğuna değinilmektedir. Konferans bir dönem kendine özgü jeopolitik ve ekonomikkoşulların yarattığı Bağlantısızlar Hareketi ve Yeni Uluslararası Ekonomik Düzen Bildirgesi varlığında toplanabilmiş ancak bu elverişli dönemin sona ermesiyle de ilkelerinin uygulanma olanağı bulunamamıştır. Sonuçta, bildirgede sözü edilen ve sağlığın temel belirleyicileri ol an sosyal, ekonomik ve siyasi eşitliğin kapitalist toplumlarda gerçekleşemeyeceği yargısına varılmıştır.
