Özet

Hasan Onat, merkezinde insanın olduğu, insanlığın ürettiği evrensel değerlerini de içerip modern dünyaya seslenebilecek yeni bir İslâm medeniyeti oluşturma gayreti içerisinde olan önemli bir İslâm âlimidir. Düşüncelerine müracaat ettiği yazarlara herhangi bir alana mensubiyetleri sebebiyle bir öncelik tanımamıştır. Çıktığı bu yolda ona destek sağlayabilecek tüm kaynakları ve iz bırakan fikirlerini, din, tarih, felsefe, psikoloji, genetik vb. demeden eleştirel bir yaklaşımla kullanmıştır. Geliştirmeye çalıştığı “İslâmî ilimlerde yeni bir usul” anlayışına uygun olarak her birini bütünün bir parçası olarak ilgili yere yerleştirmeye çalışmıştır. Bunları söylemlerine yansıtmaktan da sakınmamıştır. Bu amacına ulaşmada özellikle bilginin kaynakları, kitle psikolojisi ve tarih felsefesi gibi konulara bir hayli ağırlık vermiştir.

Abstract

Hasan Onat is an important Islamic scholar who strives to create a new Islamic civilization that includes humanity at its center and can address the modern world, including the universal values produced by humanity. He did not prioritize any field among the authors whose thoughts he consulted. All the resources that can support him on this path and the ideas of thinkers that leave their mark, religion, history, philosophy, psychology, genetics, etc. brought it together with a critical approach. Following the understanding of “a new method in Islamic sciences” that he tried to develop, he tried to place each of them as a part of the whole. He did not refrain from reflecting these on his discourse. In reaching this goal, he gave great importance to subjects such as the sources of knowledge, mass psychology, and the philosophy of history.
