Abstract
Mawlana Jalaladdin Rumi and Shems embraced like two friend who have not seen one another for many years. Then Mawlana takes Shems to his meadrasa. From that day on Mawlana and Shems begin many monthly of sahbet in the closed cell of the spiritual world. They are both overcome with wonder at the greatness of the other. In this way each guides and enlightens the other during the long periods spent alone together.

Mevlânâ ile Şems’in buluşması, birbirlerini yıllardır göremeyen iki dostun buluşmasına benzemektedir. Şems’i medresesine götüren Mevlânâ, Şems’le birlikte manevî dünyalarında aylar süren sohbete koyulurlar. Şems ve Mevlânâ birbirinin büyüklüğünü idrak ederler. Birlikte geçirdikleri uzun halvet ortamında birbirlerini aydınlatıp, birbirine rehber olurlar.
