Abstract

Ballota species are used in Turkish folk medicine as an antiulcer, antispasmodic and sedative agent. in this review, the chemical constituents of Ballota species (diterpenoids, flavonoids, phenylpropanoids, essential oils and the other compounds) have been reviewed

Ballota L. türleri Türkiye'de geleneksel olarak antiülser, antispazmodik ve sedatif amaçla kullanılmaktadır. Bu derlemede, bitkinin kimyasal bileşiminde yer alan diterpenler, flavonoitler, fenilpropanoitler, uçucu yağlar ve diğer bileşikler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir
