A new record for the mite fauna of Turkey: <em>Eremobelba geographica</em> Berlese, 1908 (Acari, Oribatida)

Abstract

In the during of the examination of soil and litter samples collected from Andırın town of Kahramanmaraş province in 2011, Eremobelba geographica Berlese, 1908 belonging to the family Eremobelbidae Balogh, 1961 is recorded as new for the Turkish fauna and its characteristics are given with the scanning electron microscope images.

Özet

2011 yılında Kahramanmaraş ili Andırın ilçesinden toplanan toprak ve döküntü örneklerinin incelenmesi esnasında, Eremobelbidae Balogh, 1961 familyasına ait Eremobelba geographica Berlese, 1908 Türkiye’den ilk kez kaydedilmiş olup türün tanıtıcı özellikleri Tarama Elektron Mikroskobu (SEM) fotoğrafları ile birlikte verilmiştir.
