Effect of Some Physiological Parameters on The Hormone Response of İrisin in Anatolian Merino Sheep

Abstract
The aim of this study was to examine the effect of body condition score (BCS), lactation, pregnancy, age and gender on the hormone response of irisin in Anatolian Merino sheep. Anatolian Merino sheep in all groups included in the study were divided into 3 groups according to their body condition scores (BCS (old) (n=30) ewe (n = 90) and rams (n = 90) were of different ages consisted of a total of 240 animals. Blood samples were taken from vena jugularis before the morning feeding of the sheep. Hormone levels of the iris were determined by ELISA method in blood serum samples. As a result of the study, mean serum irisin hormone levels during lactation and pregnancy were found in sheep in the lowest BCS
Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Anadolu Merinosu koyunlarında irisin hormon yanıtı üzerinde vücut kondüsyon skoru (VKS), laktasyon, gebelik, yaş ve cinsiyetin etkisinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmaya dahil edilen tüm gruplarda yer alan Anadolu Merinosu koyunları vücut kondüsyon skorlarına (VKS (yaşlı) (n=30), erkek ve dişi koyunlar (n=180) olmak üzere toplam 240 hayvan oluşturdu. Koyunlardan sabah yemlemesi öncesi vena jugularis'ten kan örnekleri alındı. Kan serumu örneklerinde ELİSA yöntemiyle irisin hormon düzeyleri belirlendi. Çalışma sonucunda laktasyon ve gebelik döneminde ortalama serum irisin hormon düzeyleri en düşük VKS
