Millimeter wave band tubes for space and ground communication systems and scientific investigations

Özet

In recent times, millimeter wave (MMW) communication systems have developed rapidly. What type of MMW oscillators and amplifiers could be used for space and ground communication systems and scientific investigations are investigated in this paper. In the near future the wide practical use of the MMW bands will depend on the use of high-power and mean-power radiation sources on the base of vacuum electronics devices and vacuum microelectronics.
