Özet
Renal amyloid A (AA) amyloidosis is one of the systemic etiologies of nephrotic syndrome (NS) in adults. Chronic inflammatory conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, familial periodic fever syndromes, spondyloarthropathies, and chronicbacterial infections such as tuberculosis and chronic osteomyelitis are the common causes of secondary AA amyloidosis. Inthis case report, we reported a patient presented with nephrotic syndrome and secondary AA amyloidosis due to chronichepatitis B infection in the absence of any glomerulonephritis.
