Importance of Home Care Services in Outlook Like Covid-19: A Brief Overview

Abstract

Outbreaks are events that directly affect the individual and society, and where health services are at the center. The infectious diseases that humanity has faced since its creation have caused serious effects on the vital flows of individuals and societies. We are experiencing the COVID19 epidemic and its effects, which started as of the end of 2019 and negatively affected life all over the world. Measures are taken by means of protection and control methods for the epidemic on the basis of the protective memory and scientific evidence created by the epidemic diseases seen throughout the ages. However as a result of the multidimensional effects of the epidemic, it becomes necessary for the health sector to cooperate both within its own structure and with other sectors. Home care activity plans to be implemented should have dynamic characteristics covering the general population. The role and importance of implementing home care with qualified strategies, which has been up-to-date from the beginning and shaped according to needs, has become more evident during the pandemic period.

Salgınlar, bireyi ve toplumu doğrudan ilgilendiren, sağlık hizmetlerinin merkezde olduğu olaylardır. İnsanlığın yaradılışından beri karşı karşıyakaldığı bulaşıcı hastalıklar, bireyler ya da bireyin ve toplumların yaşamsal akışlarında ciddi etkilere neden olmuştur. 2019 yılı sonu itibariylebaşlayıp tüm dünyada hayatı olumsuz etkileyen COVID-19 salgınını ve onun etkilerini yaşamaktayız. Çağlar boyunca görülen salgın hastalıklarınoluşturduğu korunma hafızası ve bilimsel kanıtlar temelinde salgına yönelik korunma ve kontrol yöntemleri yoluyla önlemler alınmaktadır.Ancak salgının çok boyutlu etkileri sonucunda sağlık sektörünün hem kendi bünyesinde hem de diğer sektörlerle iş birliği yapması zorunlu hâlegelmektedir. Uygulanacak evde bakım faaliyet planları, toplumun genelini kapsamalı ve dinamik özelliklere sahip olmalıdır. Başlangıcındanbugüne kadar güncelliğini koruyan ve ihtiyaçlara göre şekillenen evde bakımın nitelikli stratejilerle uygulanmasının rolü ve önemi, pandemidöneminde daha da belirginleşmiştir
