Abstract
Fuzzy rule based modeling and fuzzy sets theory are examined in terms of their general characteristics. Fuzzy models are relatively very new in atmospheric science. Herein such a model is developed for estimation of daily maximum temperature through consideration of the fuzzy associative memory (FAM) bank approach, and the results are presented in their explicit forms.
