Özet

Clinicians can encounter various complications afterendotracheal intubation as a result of patient anatomy, difficult intubation, and time and number of interventions performed. A life-threatening complication ofintubation is iatrogenic tracheal rupture that leadsto pulmonary air leak syndromes. In this case report,we present a 10-month-old patient who presented tothe healthcare center with cyanosis and cough afterforeign body aspiration and underwent endotrachealintubation for hypoxia. In our report, we aim to drawattention to tracheal rupture, a complication that wasidentified in bronchoscopy and found to be associatedwith repeated interventions and stylet use.
