Abstract
Kimura's disease is a rare entity which presents a chronic inflammatory process often appearing as a tumor-like swelling in the head and neck region, with or without lymphadenopathy, and occurring primarily in young males. Most cases have been described predominantly in Japanese and Chinese. The lesion is benign, but it may easily be mistaken for a malignant tumor. Treatment is mainly by surgical excision. The present case report describes the clinical and laboratory studies and treatment of two children; a three year and an eight-year-old boy, presenting with small tumoral masses in the neck and axilla. Both children have undergone an uneventful recovery after surgical excision. [Turk J Cancer 1998; 28(2) 88-92J
