Abstract

In this report, a case with malignant eccrine poroma manifesting with regional lymph node metastasis and later distant metastases during a 42-month-follow-up, is presented. This 55-year-old female patient had developed metastasis in the left inguinal lymph nodes 20 months after the removal of the primary tumor located in the left gluteal area. Atypical acrosyringeal cells constituting the primary tumor showed epidermotropic character. In the metastatic and the recurrent tumors which developed later pleomorphism was noticeable. Forty months later, diffuse cutaneous and intraabdominal involvement occurred and the patient died two months later.
