Abstract

Paraneoplastic manifestations can be the initial clue to the presence of an occult neoplasm. Here we report two unique paraneoplastic manifestations of acanthosis nigricans and Eaton-Lambert myasthenic syndrome occurring simultaneously in a patient with small cell lung cancer, months before the diagnosis of the primary tumor. Clinical importance of paraneoplastic syndromes for early diagnosis is emphasized.
