Abstract

Ata Soyer’s contribution to the “line” drawn and followed in the last 30 years of the Turkish Medical Association after 1980 is particularly important. Throughout the process as a whole, Ata Soyer had his imprint as an “elder brother” stemming from his personal characteristics whether he was in any governing body or not. The article describes this “character” and its unique features.

Özet

Türk Tabipleri Birliği’nin 1980 sonrası 30 yıla yaklaşan tarihinde Ata Soyer’in oluşturulan ve yer aldığı ‘hat’ta katkısı çok önemlidir. Ata Soyer tüm bu süreç boyunca -yönetimlerde olsun olmasın- kendi özellikleriyle yarattığı “abi” konumuyla bütün bir döneme damgasını vurmuştur. Yazıda “karakter”in yeri ve özgünlükleri tanımlanmaktadır.
