Strikes in University hospitals and academicians

Abstract

In this study, the attitude of academicians for strikes in university hospitals was evaluated. Alienation of the academicians from scientific production process and consequently his or her asset seems as the major obstacle against attendance the strikes. On the other hand, possession of some features like being a scientist and/or intellectual or social class properties enforces active involvement.

Özet

Bu çalışmada üniversite hastanelerindeki grevlere karşı öğretim üyelerinin tutumu ele alınmıştır. Akademisyenlerin bilgi üretim süreçlerine ve bunun sonucu olarak da kendi varlığına yabancılaşması, grevlere katılımında bir engel gibi gözükmektedir. Diğer yandan, bilim insanı ve aydın olması ile sınıfsal konumu gibi özellikleri aktif katılımını zorlamaktadır.
