Rhabdomyosarcoma of the uterus in a premenopausal patient

Abstract
Rhabdomyosarcoma is a type of sarcoma accepted to arise from the skeletal muscle progenitors and seen mostly in childhood period. Pure rhabdomyosarcoma of the müllerian system of the adult is very rare. Here, a case of rhabdomyosarcoma of the uterus in the premenopausal period and followed up by our clinic is presented.
Özet
Rabdomyosarkom, çizgili kas öncül hücrelerinden köken aldığı kabul edilen genellikle çocukluk çağında görülen bir sarkom türüdür. Erişkinde mülleryan sistemin saf rabdomyo- sarkomu oldukça nadir görülür. Sunulan yazıda premenopozal dönemde saptanan ve kliniğimizde takip edilen bir uterus rabdomyosarkomu olgusu değerlendirilmiştir.
