Abstract
Alopecia areata is a circular or oval area shaped limited hair spillage without any visible inflammation of the skin. Hair skin is the most widespread occupied region. Because it accompanies autoimmune diseases it is considered to be an autoimmune disease. Additionally, finger involvement can accompany the disease. There are many treatment options of the disease, also spontaneous remission is possible. We decided to report a case in whom we compared the treatment efficacy of pimecrolimus, which recently had begun to take place in the treatment of alopesia areata with calciprotriol, a vitamin D analogue.
