Postmodern Anarchism and The Problem of Representation

Abstract
It is possible to define anarchism as authority-power opposition in its most general definition. This anti-authoritarianism bringstogether anarchism and postmodern thought on the same ground. The criticism of power by postmodern thought draws attentionto the cognitive, social, cultural, linguistic dimension, not only to the political dimension of power, as in anarchism. In our study,we will consider the anti-authoritarianism of the two discourses in relation to anti-representation.
Özet
Anarşizmi en genel tanımı itibariyle otorite-iktidar karşıtlığı olarak tanımlamak mümkündür. Bu otorite karşıtlığı ise anarşizmile postmodern düşünceyi aynı zeminde buluşturmaktadır. Postmodern düşüncenin iktidar eleştirisi anarşizmde olduğu gibi iktidarınsadece siyasal boyutuna değil bilişsel, toplumsal, kültürel ve dilsel boyutuna da dikkat çeker. Çalışmamızda bu iki söyleminiktidar karşıtlığını anti-temsilcilikle ilişkili olarak ele alacağız.
