Determination by Vickers indentation fracture toughness values of apatit containing bioactive glass-ceramics

Abstract
In this study, the Vickers indentation fracture toughness (Kc) values of the hot-pressed and cast apatite containing bioactive glass-ceramics have been determined. These fracture toughness (Kc) value have been compared with those reported for the human bone the literature.
Özet
Bu çalışmada sıcak- preslenmiş ve döküm ve kontrollü kristalizasyon yöntemi ile üretilmiş olan apatit içeren bioaktif cam seramiklerin Vickers sertlik yötemi ile kırılma toklukları (Kcj belirlenmiştir. Bu tokluk değerlerinin daha önce literatürde tesbit edilen iman kemiği için elde edilen kırılma tokluğu değerleri ile uyumu araştırılmıştır.
