An interactive simulation package for CNC lathe operations

Abstract
In this study, a simulation program is prepared for the verification of CNC part programs of lathe operations. The program is written in C++ and it is integrated with a drawing program to draw the semi-product shape. Part program which is written in standard EIA codes (G and M codes) and semi-product shape are the input to the program and all machining processes together with the tool movements are displayed according to the part program. During simulation the tool co-ordinates are displayed at the right-bottom end of the screen. The computer program is designed so that it can be integrated to CIM applications.
Özet
Bu çalışmada, CNC tornalar için hazırlanan parça programlarının denenmesi amacıyla bir simülasyon yazılımı geliştirilmiştir. Program C++ ile yazılmış ve yarı mamul şeklin çizimi için geliştirilen bir çizim programı ile desteklenmiştir. Yarı mamul şekli ve standard G ve M kodlan ile yazılmış parça programı girdi olarak alınmaktadır. Talaş kaldırma işlemleri takım hareketleri ve koordinatları ile birlikte girilen parça programına bağlı olarak ekranda gösterilmektedir. Program Bilgisayar Tümleşik Üretim (BTÜ) uygulamalarına entegre edilebilecek şekilde hazırlanmıştır.
