Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı döngüsel çeviri eğitimindeki profil belirleme aşamasınıörneklemek için Çeviribilim öğrencilerinin öğrenme biçemlerinin başarı yönelimlerineetkisini belirlemektir. Araştırmaya Almanca, Fransızca ve İngilizce Çeviribilimbölümlerinde okuyan 242 öğrenci katılmıştır. İlişkisel araştırma modeline dayananaraştırmanın verileri 2018 bahar döneminde Başarı Yönelimleri Ölçeği ve BİGÖğrenme Biçemleri Envanteriyle toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda bedensel biçemleson dönem ortalaması, işitsel biçemle dil, öğrenme yönelimiyle cinsiyet ve son dönemortalaması, performans-yaklaşmayla dil ve cinsiyet arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur.Ayrıca bedensel biçem ile öğrenme yönelimi ve performans-yaklaşma yönelimi, işitselbiçem ile öğrenme yönelimi, görsel biçem ile öğrenme yönelimi ve performansyaklaşmayönelimi arasında anlamlı, doğrusal ve aynı yönlü ilişki olduğu tespitedilmiştir.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of learning styles on Translation Studies students' goal orientations in order to illustrate the profile setting phase of the cyclic translation education. 242 students studying in the German, French and English Translation Studies departments participated in the research. The results of the research based on the relational research model were collected in 2018 spring term through Success Orientation and BIG Learning Styles Inventory. As a result of the research, it has been found that kinesthetic style has a significant relationship with last semester average, auditory style with language, learning orientation with gender and last semester average, performance-approach orientation with language and gender. Also, it has been determined that kinesthetic style has a meaningful, linear and the directional relationship with learning and performance-approach orientations, auditory style with learning-orientation, visual style with learning and performance-approach orientations.
