Abstract
Objective: The objective of this study is to investigate the prevalence of seasonal affective disorder (SAD) and subsyndromal SAD in a group adults in the semirural area of izmir. Methods: The Seasonal Pattern Assesment Questionaire was handed to a random, sample. After 3-5 days, forms were back. Results: The prevalence rates of SAD and S-SAD were found 2.21% and 9.22%. These results were lower than those measured with similar methods. Conclusion: These results could indicate that East populations were less affected the seasonal changes.
Results: Mevsimsel duygudurum bozukluğu (MDB) ve eşikaltı mevsimsel duygudurum bozukluğu yaygınlığı sırasıyla %2.21 ve %9.22 oranlarında saptanmıştır.
